Nordic Engineering welcomes new supplier
Nordic Engineering ApS has entered into a collaboration with the Italian company Solise and is now exclusive agent of their products in Scandinavia. With more than 30 years of experience, Solise (which is a contraction of Solid Liquid Separation) can call themselves specialists in filtration and sedimentation.
Nordic Engineering can offer drum vacuum filters and horizontal vacuum belt filters.
Drum vacuum filters
Nordic Engineering can offer several types of drum vacuum filters, all of which belong to the category rotating filters. They are custom-made to suit the individual customer's process and needs.
The drum filters are excellent for handling various types of slurries where there are high drainage requirements, filter cake cleaning and liquid clearance.
Typical applications for drum vacuum filters are for food, minerals, pigments, biological sludge, industrial waste, fly ashes, catalysts, salts, etc.
The available types are:
- Scraper discharge
- Cloth discharge
- Roller discharge
- Precoat discharge
Horizontal vacuum belt filters
Horizontal vacuum belt filters are utilized with slurries that require high efficiency of cake washing, with slurries with high solid content and slurries with thixotropic characteristics.
They are available in two main types:
- Continuous belt filters
- Indexing belt filters (Step operating filters)
The filters are used for cost-effective separation of liquid solids in demanding process environments.
Typical applications are organic acids, fine chemicals, pigments, minerals, pharmaceutical specialties, fertilizers, gypsum, palm oil, etc.
