We wish all our customers and partners a Merry Christmas &
a Happy New Year.
As we are saying goodbye to 2018 and welcoming 2019, we wish to take a quick recap of some of the events and developments in Nordic Engineering of the last 12 months.
Our strategy of 2018 was to move us from a sales and component company to a more solution focused company. Furthermore, we wanted to focus more on growth in sales and projects, both achieved successfully.
We welcomed two new suppliers. The Italian company Solise, experts in filtration and sedimentation and another Italian company Loterios, experts in fabricated items in Titanium, such as heat exchangers, vessels etc. We have made so many interesting projects with all of our suppliers in 2018 and we look forward to many more in 2019.
2018 also brought some obstacles to overcome. One of the largest have been the change of our order and accounting system. Although the transition wasn’t as easy as planned, we are now starting to see the advantages of this new system and when we enter 2019 we will feel how this new system makes the daily tasks easier.
It was also the year where we attended four different exhibitions in Denmark and Sweden and got the opportunity to meet existing as well as potential new customers. It was very exciting and nice to see so many attended the exhibitions and made their way to our booth.
A happy surprise took place when we were rewarded with the Børsen Gazelle award 2018. A Gazelle is a company that, over four fiscal years, has had growth and overall doubled its turnover over the four years. It shows that our strategy is working and that all are working hard to reach our goals.
To help us fuel our growth, we brought on new talent. September 1st, we welcomed Thomas J. Radtleff as our new Sales Manager, responsible for the sales department and the sales activities.
We now have the strongest team ever and are ready for 2019. The coming year will for sure be full of opportunities, which we will face with the skills and confidence we gained over the past year.
